Guest Information & Club Guidelines

Oakridge Country Club is a private, family-oriented club committed to providing an enjoyable and respectful experience for members, their families, and invited guests. The following guidelines are intended to help guests feel prepared before arriving at the Club.

Members are responsible for ensuring their guests are familiar with Club policies, including dress code, golf course etiquette, and applicable guest fees. We encourage members to share this information with guests in advance to help avoid any uncomfortable situations upon arrival.

Dress Code

  • Men and boys: Golf attire should align with current golf fashion or PGA standards. Collared shirts, including turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks, are required and must be tucked in while playing golf. Cargo shorts, cargo pants, tank tops, tee shirts, and sleeveless shirts are not permitted.

Sleeveless shirts must have a collar, and collarless shirts must have sleeves. Skirts, skorts, and shorts must be no more than five inches above the top of the knee. Tank tops, halter tops, racerback shirts, and yoga, exercise, or spandex-style pants are not permitted unless worn with a skort or skirt.

Metal spikes are not permitted. For health and safety, footwear is recommended, and hats or caps may not be worn backwards.

General Golf Rules

To help ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, Oakridge Country Club recommends a pace of play of 3 hours and 45 minutes for 18 holes. This expectation applies to all players, regardless of group size. Slower groups should allow faster groups to play through when there is open space ahead and doing so will not cause undue delay.

  1. The Rules of Golf as adopted by the USGA apply, except where they conflict with local Club rules.
  2. All players must check in with the Golf Shop before beginning play. Guests may not begin play on Hole #10 without Golf Shop approval.
  3. Practice is not permitted on the golf course. Please use the designated practice facilities.
  4. Enter and exit bunkers at the nearest low point and smooth the sand with a rake before leaving.
  5. Repair ball marks on the green and replace divots or fill them with the sand provided.
  6. Searching for golf balls other than those played by members of your group is not permitted.
  7. Each player must have their own set of golf clubs. The Golf Shop does not provide rental clubs to guests.
  8. Personal beverage coolers are not permitted on the course unless provided by the Club.
  9. Range balls may not be taken from the practice facility or used on the course.
  10. Fishing, jogging, bicycling, skiing, and recreational walking are not permitted on the golf course at any time.

Golf Course Etiquette

  1. Anticipate your next shot and be ready to play when it is your turn.
  2. ?On and around the greens, study and clear your putting line while others are doing the same so you are prepared to putt promptly.
  3. When approaching the green, park your golf cart on the cart path nearest the next tee. Please do not leave your cart in front of the green.
  4. After completing a hole, leave the green promptly and proceed to the next tee, where scores may be recorded.
  5. If your group is not maintaining its position on the course, please allow the group behind you to play through when appropriate.
  6. The golf staff may report slow play or breaches of golf etiquette to the Golf Shop. Appropriate action may be taken by the professional staff.
